awesome 2007, a bigger 2008!

2007 just ended and it's time to look back at the year that has passed and welcome 2008 with great anticipation!

2007 was a year of growth and self-discovery for me. i re-discovered my personal strengths and weaknesses and i was able to surpass the obstacles that came my way.

professionally, i was able to prove to myself and to the company that i work for that i am indeed worth every penny they pay me (actually, i am worth MORE!, and which my competitors have recognized.. hint, hint. haha) by bringing in USD 800,000 when people were saying it could not be done...

in my music life, Astrojuan took a more determined approach by hitting the recording studio and getting a manager. things are looking up and we're excited about the year ahead. at the same time, after almost a year of absence, Naima is dedicating time for the recording process. both of my bands will be coming out with our EP's in 2008.

in my personal life, i finally decided to take a risk by trying to live on my own and become fully independent. i'm glad that i'm finally learning how to balance my finances and prioritize the more important things rather than to spend, spend, spend!

in my spiritual life, i have embraced Buddhism and i am more at one with nature... haha, kidding! i'm still Catholic and i love God all the more. without him, i am nothing.

a big thank you to all the people who have been part of my 2007. i will always value your friendship.

for 2008, my keyword is "expansion". 2007 was a year for myself; 2008 is a year for others. it's time to help the company i work for become bigger; it's time to share the music of both Astrojuan and Naima. it's time to share all the blessings i received in 2007 to others who may need it.
