my baby sister (who really isn't a baby anymore) got published in Read Magazine, a Powerbooks publication. the article she wrote was actually for a creative writing paper in the Ateneo. her professor liked it so much that she convinced Isel to allow her to publish it.
i'm amazed at how brilliant and tongue-in-cheek my sister's writing style can be. i love her choice of words and the manner by which she was able to gather bits and pieces of her life experiences and put them together to create a story that's entirely new and refreshing.
