everybody here wants you

i know i haven't blogged in ages. i keep thinking i'm obliged to write about what's been happening so far but part of me feels i should just get on and leave things "unrecorded". so here i am, blogging about the present and not the past. =D

one of my favorite artists of all time is Jeff Buckley. too bad he drowned while swimming in Wolf River, a tributary of the Mississippi, in 1997. critics were hailing him as one of the most promising artists of our generation. fortunately, his music and genius lives on with 10 albums to his name (most were released after his death).

recently, i've been hearing NU 107 play my favorite Jeff Buckley song, "Everybody Here Wants You". i really love how the lyrics were written and how Jeff sings the song in his haunting, soothing voice. i discovered they also made a video for the song, so here it is for everyone to enjoy. for those who'll be hearing Jeff Buckley for the first time, get ready to be mesmerized.
